If you wanted to reduce the number of equities in your portfolio and one of your choices was between SDR and SRG (yes, very different) which would you be inclined to sell and why? You’ve indicated you’re looking at the lithium sector to buy. Which stocks have you narrowed down to and is IGO of interest? Thanks heaps for all your work and clear, thorough and fast responses to this dynamic market. Trish

Hi guys, just a quick one.
Can I have your updated thoughts on Xero please and short term crystal ball predictions.
I had been expecting a bounce, but with only bad news around it’s looking like I may have caught the falling knife.
Thanks

Dear MM, thanks for your great support, including this Q&A. Both marvellous. I was hoping to get your views on PXA and C79. PXA share price continues to decline, is there a price where it again becomes interesting on value or have we overshot and it is now about sentiment/finding a bottom. The same or similar appears to be the case for C79. Although it appears interesting on value, sentiment appears to have pushed it lower still. Do you think the bottom has been reached? Many thanks and best regards, Mark

Hi. I am new to your service and am enjoying your current views on markets and stocks. However. I am having trouble reconciling your views on stocks and the forecast score. The latter is something I put emphasis because, if reliable, it indicated the stock’s quality. Two examples are SDR which you are ” long and bullish on around $4, yet the ” forecast” score is 5/10. Conversely for SSM you apparently have no interest, yet it has a perfect score of 10/10.
Can you address my confusion please?

Dear MM, thanks for all the great work. I was hoping to get your thoughts on EOL and SPZ. Both companies’ share prices have retreated. Is this just part of valuation concerns/AI disruption of the wider technology sector or specific to the companies. Would you consider current prices as reasonable entry points. Many thanks again, Mark

This huge US$16bn US-traded ETF focuses on global software companies, making it a concentrated play on the software sector.  Similar to several ETFs looked at today its been volatile through 2026 but its currently enjoying some rotation from the semiconductor names.

In recent weeks we called the embattled software stocks (AI Disruption Trade) to outperform the semiconductors (The AI Buildout Trade), and this has played out with a more than 25% outperformance by the software stocks, although most of this has been generated by the weakness in the semiconductors. Overnight, even when the likes of Micron and Advanced Micro Devices fell away, we saw Intuit and Salesforce both firm nicely.

The AI Disruption trade has hammered some of the ASX’s previously much-loved tech stocks, with the likes of WiseTech (-64%), Xero (-61%), Seek (-41%), and Life360 (-30%) dominating the “losers enclosure” over the last year.
